Sermon:The LORD put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel

Pastor teaches on the distinction that exists between the believer and the world. A distinction that God has put between His people and the world.

There are two types of folk in the world. The people that fear the Lord; and those that do not. The covenant that has been extended to all believers is based on our example, how we are transformed by His love and grace and how we represent Him in our walk. We are Christs’ holy priesthood and ought to be honoring our part of the bargain by not compromising, by not lowering His standard, but by living a sacrificial life acceptable unto Him.

The earnest walker knows that narrow is the way, and few there be that find it.  We have to set ourselves apart from the world. We must be distinctive and distinguished; that we must show ourselves different.
Wonderful teaching.

Sermon: Revive Us Again

Pastor D reminds us that we need to get fired up. Look around. In our families, in our work, in our government and quite possibly in our lives things are broken. The weight on our spirits burden us and we begin to accept things as thy are. Malaise sets in and we become accustomed to ways that are inappropriate. Lack of urgency, complacency, apathy, lack of passion, and laziness become the norm. Envy, an unforgiving spirit, animosity, persistent willingness to sin are all hindrances to our ability to connect to God.

If we are honest with ourselves. most of us will say that we are in need of a spiritual revival. We need to work hard from becoming dried out Christians. We must return to right, return to light - Return to Life. We must recharge our spirit by the Word, by the pursuit of His plan for us in our lives. We must be earnest in our quest and passionate in our please when we ask for what’s needed.

Hallelujah Thine the Glory, Revive us again.

Sermon: Reflections of an old man

Pastors returns with a message of wisdom, imparted from the walk in experience and in spirit. When we see the wicked prospering; and we see the righteous suffer, it can be disheartening. It can challenge our faith; and at its worst; make us question the Lord.

But the wisdom attained by walking towards holiness reminds us that the pursuit of a righteous life is a life well lived. There is a wisdom that is acquired that is best imparted after a long journey. The seasoned Christian knows this. They’ve seen the storms and the fire. They’ve seen the pain. More importantly, They’ve seen God’s intercession. They’ve seen the Lord’s mercy and grace. Because of this, they know that the righteous walk is worth it.

Praise God.

Sermon: Pressing Towards The Mark I

In this sermon, Rev Larkins speaks on the example Paul set as a witness. In the midst of our walk, fraught with strife, we need to press. When times are good, things are going our way; we need to press. Our walk ought to be such that others are strengthened by our example. When we are guided by the standard of the Lord we ensure the furtherance of the Gospel and serves as evidence of the blessing of the Gift. These are the standards that manifest when the believer sincerely presses towards the mark of our high calling.
