Pastors’ word today sheds light on the contriteness,
power and reverence that is reflected through the bible’s briefest, yet most
powerful prayer. On the walk, we are
confronted with circumstances that try us. It is in these times of absolute
despair that we cry out for His intercession.
We realize and acknowledge that we cannot change
our circumstances through our own efforts. We cease trying to do so via our own volition.
These are the times that we are appropriately receptive to His intercession. We
ought to recall the vulnerability, openness, sincerity of spirit that we have in
those extreme times; this is how we should be at all times. We need to understand
this when we pray: Lord, save me.
Powerful teaching.
