Pastor advises us to look to the Colossian prayer
for guidance on how we ought to conduct ourselves on our walk. These 5 pillars are
directives for proper living; preparing us for our holy inheritance. Let us examine
and eliminate those things that are unbecoming to God and embrace the terms of the
Colossian prayer, shoring up our spiritual selves.
The Colossian Prayer
1. Knowledge of God’s will (v. 9).
2. Application of God’s will (v. 10).
3. Bearing fruit in every good work (v. 10)
4. Strengthened with all power (v. 11).
5. Joyously giving thanks to the Father” (vv. 11-12).
