What are you doing here?

We run from our responsibilities, we wallow in our pity, fear, and we ignore God’s touch in our lives. We spiral into loneliness, despair and depression. Not recognizing the peace and joy that we have access to through Christ! Why is it that we find ourselves overwhelmed, despondent, and distant?

God will gently prompt us back to Him!   He doesn’t save us to have us dwell in this place.

Pastor breaks further breaks down the parable of the sower and the seed. God’s word doesn’t discriminate where it falls. Where you are in your life’s journey is a metaphor for where the seed falls when you encounter it. Some seed will fall to the wayside and be devoured birds. Some see will fall on the stony place where there isn’t much soil and will fail to grow. Some seed will fall among the thorns and will be suffocated by the thicket. But good work is to identify the seeds when they do fall and to ensure the seed is sowed into good ground, nurtured and cared for.  The seed and the maintenance of the ground allows us to be able to expect abundance when we reap.
