Sermon: Choose Ye This Day

Choose Ye This Day
Pastor preaches on the power of prompt preparation.  Getting ready for what God has in store for us is not a passive activity, but a directive that should force us to reconcile our choices post haste.

When we chose the walk, we have been forgiven for our sins and saved from our destruction. We each were sinners in on various paths. Despite the diversity of our backgrounds, we now pursue the same destination.

You should know that that it’s time to make a choice. We need to choose who we serve and how we serve:  and we need to choose today.

Our work, commitment, attitude, and example will reflect the choices we’ve made.
Amen.

Sermon: David encouraged himself in the Lord

In this powerful message, Pastor D teaches on how we as believers need to respond to adversities in our lives. We are sure to have our own responses to those obstacles that keep us from moving forward towards Him, but it is only after we exhaust our own resources, acknowledge and rely completely on the Lord; it is only through Him that we are able to move from a place of discouragement to encouragement.

Awesome stuff.

Sowing and Reaping

Pastor D reminds us of our duty to help one another in the spirit of restoration – not the spirit of condemnation. We can do this by shouldering each other’s infirmities, supporting each other and taking care of our own business as well.
Our opinions of ourselves are likely seen via the worldly view. But when we do this in the context of scripture/spirituality, we will surely find those things that we ought to be working on to get it together. We must act with the intent to sow goodness, righteousness if we expect to reap the same later.
One of the ways to begin sowing is to prepare and plan for this by committing to digging into God’s Word and following His universal laws. Doing this is like planting the seed that grows into the tree, and thanks to Him, when we sow little we reap much.
Amen.

Sermon: Have you been with Jesus?

Have you been with Jesus?
Pastor preaches about this power to which the faithful have access. This the power that exists in Jesus’ name. In the midst of trials, judgement, and external questioning; our boldness to proclaim the name of Jesus confuses the non-believer and upsets the enemy; but us walkers do not have to fear! We ought to get with Jesus to solidify our relationship, to ensure that we are truly transformed prepared so that we can do the work that He would have us to do.

We are works in progress.

But when we spend time with Jesus we come to see our calling, we change our attitude, we become responsible, we develop sensitivity to God’s will and His voice. We come to understand satisfaction in who we are and what we can do.

Spend time with Jesus and understand that His power, his peace and his protection will work through you!

Wonderful teaching!
