Sermon: Who do you think I am?

Who do you think that I am?
Pastor D preaches on the question of His identity to us. In Jesus’ name we are given the power to fight the enemy, the power of faith; the power of to overcome the insurmountable. Taking a look at our worlds, we see that which is not of God outside and inside the church. These realities are foretold, and shouldn’t surprise us – nor should they entrap us.

By chasing after the Lord, we can discern and avoid these obstacles. But our pursuit ultimately will lead us to that confrontation that Jesus put upon the disciples – and on the walker’s spirit.

How do we answer when Jesus asks: “Who do you say that I am?”

Wonderful teaching.

Sermon: The Colossian Prayer

The Colossian Prayer
Pastor advises us to look to the Colossian prayer for guidance on how we ought to conduct ourselves on our walk. These 5 pillars are directives for proper living; preparing us for our holy inheritance. Let us examine and eliminate those things that are unbecoming to God and embrace the terms of the Colossian prayer, shoring up our spiritual selves.

The Colossian Prayer

1. Knowledge of God’s will (v. 9).
2. Application of God’s will (v. 10).
3. Bearing fruit in every good work (v. 10)
4. Strengthened with all power  (v. 11).
5. Joyously giving thanks to the Father” (vv. 11-12).

Sermon: Beware The Little Foxes

Pastor D preaches on how we must be wary to mind the little things in our lives. Like little foxes, there are things that appear to be harmless; attractive even. And as we humor them, accept them, entertain them, and ignore their existence, they may very likely be working against us the whole time!

Beware the little foxes in our lives. Our friendships, technology, social media, what we watch on TV, what we eat, money … Take heed to capture, contain and eliminate the little foxes, as they will spoil the vines where our tender grapes reside!

Amen.

Sermon: Six Fors

Six Fors
Pastor D teaches on six justifications that clearly enable us to be fearless, bold and courageous in our walk.  These tenets can serve to guide us along the way reminding us of Gods intercession and expectation for our lives.

1.    Because Paul was not ashamed
2.    Because of the power of God
3.    Because of the righteousness of God
4.    Because the wrath of God revealed it
5.    Because God showed it to them
6.    Because the invisible things reveal God
