He is Risen!

Pastor’s Resurrection Day 2016 sermon. Let us reflect on the true meaning of Easter and be a wonderful witness of the Good News. Amen.

Scripture

Matthew 28:1-6

He is Risen!

Sermon: Worship!

At the start of Passion Week, Pastor D teaches on the accountability of worship. We ought to understand that worship means to bow down. It is the recognition of the Glory, Might and Power of God. We can attest that God’s Power has the characteristics of being immediately discernible, absolute, omnipotent, and supersedes anything and everything.

The believer knows that worship is an inherent calling that is beckoned via God’s Power working on and in our lives.

For believers, this call to worship God is uncontrollable and undeniable.

In doing so, we need to understand that God doesn’t settle for partial worship… Indeed He expects - and His Power commands whole and complete worship. Worship God in spirit and in truth with all of our hearts and all that we do.

Excellent teaching!

Sermon: Acknowledging Gods Gifts

Today we were blessed to come together and enjoy Pastor’s 70th surprise birthday celebration. Guest Preacher Lonnie Duckett preached on our duty as the faithful to acknowledge God’s Gifts that are all around us in our lives. We need to take the moments to recall these gifts and to give thanks for all that He has done.

This is powerful preaching. Wonderful, wonderful.

Sermon: But Where Are The Nine?

Pastor breaks down the dangers of ungratefulness. As believers, we hope for God’s mercy; indeed, we actively seek it out – we expect it. We must be mindful of our actions when God’s mercy is upon us. Are we obedient? Are we bearing fruit? Are we active, pursuing God’s charge? Are we grateful? Do we say thank you? This powerful sermon reminds us that in order to be made whole, we must pray AND praise. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Thank You Jesus!
