Sermon:The Persuaded Christian

The Persuaded Christian
Pastor preaches on our charge to live a meaningful life through the persuasion of faith. Fortunately for us, our access to the Love of God  is not broken by life’s tribulations, distresses, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril or sword.

And thankfully, God’s Love for us is not based on anything we do, nor is it based upon how we conduct ourselves as a result of these situations.   Indeed, we ought to be faithful in spite of ‘circumstances’.   We are persuaded, steeped in faith allowing Jesus to reign.   We must ask ourselves: Am I persuaded today?

Blessed be the Lord.

Scripture

Romans 8:28-39

Sermon:The Persuaded Christian

Sermon: Lord show me, Me.

Pastor teaches about the consequence of our condemnation. Jesus admonishes that the judgment we apply to others is surely to be placed upon us. As believers, we ought to watch how we think and speak about others. True introspection should reveal to us that we are incompetent to evaluate someone else’s situation and/life. Additionally, if we are honest with ourselves, we might find that we are struggling with the reflection of our own circumstances – projecting it on others. Indeed, when we are judgmental we miss our opportunity to be a blessing to others and we give the enemy exactly what he wants.

When we judge, we are looking outward; but God wants us to be looking inward, thus we ought to be praying consistently: Lord, show me, me.

Powerful, reflective teaching, Amen.
Scripture: Matthew 7:1-5

Sermon: Give Me This Mountain

Pastor preached on the dutifulness, the faith of Caleb who was fearless in the face of obstacles and opposition. The believer who takes his eyes off of God will find that these obstacles are impossible to surmount.  To these folks, obstacles are barriers. Indeed, they become “giant problems”. Christians who spend their time complaining about  the circumstances of their life will never conquer their “giants”.

But those who wholly follow the Lord God manifest the courage to be bold,  the  power to act, and the blessing to  influence and  move others beyond their current circumstance.  Wonderful teaching!

Sermon: God Uses Pain

Pastor D shares this profound testimony and discusses how trials and tribulations come to force us reckon with God’s role in our lives.  When we find ourselves in trouble, we fight with faith and the incessant lies of the enemy, but the adversity should serve  as a reminder of God’s greatness; of God’s plan for us.  Our suffering is a prompt. It may have to happen to protect us from further\worse pain. It can be a catalyst to vault the believer to a greater calling.  We should pray for the passion of action that allows us to better understand God’s plan for us in our lives so that we may experience His blessing of deliverance, healing and victory. Truly Blessed today.
