Sermon: God Is In Control

Guest Pastor Larkins speaks about the importance of seeking God during times of duress. In the world today, we are seeing events and circumstances that may anger, confuse, or cause us to be fearful. But, during these trying times, we should run to God. We, as believers should take comfort in knowing that God if our refuge; our shelter. He is present at all times. We must be confident in his Power and Sovereignty! Even during our trials, we must give God the praise. We honor Him in return for the blessing of protection from sin. God’s grace makes our lives much better when we clearly see that God is in control! Selah.

Sermon: Grapes And Vines

Pastor D preaches on the value of Christian connectedness. In our daily lives, our actions will undoubtedly land us in places where we find ourselves disconnected from the only Source of Power in our lives. We are sure to wither. Our connected as fruit bearing witness to the True Vine is more than vital, it’s mandatory. This connection doesn't just happen by believing; we are tasked to abide by the Word and what the word prescribes.  Through willing obedience, we can begin to bear the fruit of the Spirit of God in abundance.

This is the standard that we must uphold.  Powerful!

Sermon: A Family Affair

Guest Pastor Barrett shares how our collective duty is to one another with respect to our soul and salvation. Each one of us understands the attraction of sin. We have to take responsibility for keeping one another accountable, including raising our children up properly, in the ways of the Lord. As a family we ought to uplift one another for the purpose of upholding the standard of God. On this baptism/communion Sunday, we celebrate God’s gift – His Saving Grace together; as a family.

Moses' House - Gods' House - Your House

Pastor D preached about the duties of faith. Through the Word and Jesus, we are given a better example for our lives and our standards for living. The spirit of the Word will move a faithful believer to the truth of God. God is more faithful to us than we are to him and that blessing should drive our actions – remind us of our duties to our lives, our homes and our spirit. Thanks be to God that His mercies are such that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. (Lamentations 3:22). Wonderful, wonderful stuff.
